
Many a time we don’t realise the amount of unwanted baggage we carry around with us, and I don’t mean physical loads. It’s the heavy heartedness, the weight on the shoulders, the neck pain…you know what I am talking about.
The sad part is that we choose to carry this ‘load’ around with us for years and years, not realising that it gets heavier and heavier… So, isn’t it time to ‘clean that closet’, to ‘shed the load’ and begin to seriously feel lighter?
Well, here’s a few quick tips to help you with your ‘spring cleaning’…
- Remind yourself that you are in charge of your mind and feelings.
- No person is forcing you to carry negative feelings and emotions around.
- Start by ignoring the thoughts and DO NOT give them power to “snowball in your mind”
- Try your best to look at the positive side of all your daily happenings.
- Know that the past is gone forever. Whatever happened is over. Look at the present and towards the future.
- Allow all the negative thoughts to simmer away..
- Train yourself to do this until the point where you feel lighter and more positive..
Remember that a cluttered, untidy closet is ugly and untidy. So too are our thoughts ..so don’t forget to clean it out whenever need!
