So…all have warmed up, with catch -up time regarding recent events. The visitors are looking comfortable and well at home in your company.
Laughter, smiles and happy and/or some sad moments are shared.
You do however notice something though; some of the visitors are looking pretty parched…
Perhaps the drive was hot and tiring ? Or maybe they were in the area and decided to pop in..
Well, you guessed it right… Offer them a drink, some fruit or a snack.
Yes, it’s common decency and good manners to offer your visitors a drink or something to eat. It does not have to be something homemade, lavish or expensive…
Quick tip – it’s always good to keep some juice, sweets, chocolates or snacks stashed away, just for these ideal situations.
We, of course, referring here, to the casual visitor and not the ‘formal’ invited guest.
And yes, it doesn’t matter who the guest is, be it a neighbour, repairman, your kid’s friends or distant relatives… make the offer whoever they are.
With regards to hospitality, this small gesture is proven to leave warmth and a positive memory in the minds of your guests…
