The visitors have arrived…(Part 3)

opened brown wooden french door

Ding-Dong…there goes the door bell and you rush over to see who it is.

Opening the door you hear a loud “Tada”…

Taking a silent gulp, you reply ” Wow, what a surprise, so good to see you guys.”

“Please come in and make yourself at home…”

(At the back of your mind…Oh my God, I have tons of chores to run and I only have a few hours left)

Yes – Dear Visitor:  It is common decency to phone or message before visiting.

Just showing up is not on, unless of course it’s a surprise party. We need to let the hosts know that we coming, so that they may be appropriately dressed for one, and also to check whether they are truly available to visit. Perhaps they have serious deadlines or important tasks and chores to complete. Or perhaps they just a bit ill or tired from a days work and they need to rest. We should consider these and other things before just ‘rocking’ up at somebody’s place.

Sending a message or phoning first, makes things easy for all involved…
